2025 - 2026 Board

As we begin a new chapter in our parish community, we are blessed to introduce the women who will serve on the 2025–2026 Board of the St. Thérèse de Lisieux Council of Catholic Women (CCW). Each of these dedicated leaders brings unique gifts, faith, and energy to guide us in our mission of service, spirituality, and fellowship.

About Our Commissions

In keeping with the National Council of Catholic Women (NCCW) guidance for its affiliated parish or diocesan councils, including St. Therese de Lisieux CCW, "commissions" are the four main areas of service and ministry. Together, they guide us in living our faith, strengthening our community, and serving others with the heart of Christ.

1

Spirituality

  • Focuses on the spiritual growth of members.

  • Encourages prayer, retreats, reflection, and ongoing faith formation.

  • Promotes Catholic teaching and devotion (e.g., rosaries, Bible studies, days of reflection).

  • Helps women deepen their relationship with Christ and live out the Church’s mission.

2

Leadership

  • Equips members with the skills to be leaders in the Church and community.

  • Provides resources on organization, effective meeting practices, recruitment, and mentoring.

  • Encourages members to step into parish, diocesan, and community leadership roles.

  • Promotes service in unity with the clergy and other parish ministries.

3

Service

  • Puts faith into action through charitable and social justice work.

  • Supports programs like Respect Life, domestic violence awareness, helping the poor and underserved, care for the elderly and our armed forces, and parish outreach.

  • Often partners with national initiatives, local charities, and diocesan programs.

  • Embodies the mission of "serving with the heart of Christ."

4

Legislative

  • Informs members on key issues – keeps the council updated on public policy matters that impact life, family, faith, and social justice.

  • Monitors legislative developments – tracks local, state, and federal legislation affecting moral, social, and humanitarian concerns.

  • Encourages advocacy – motivates members to use their voices through letter-writing, petitions, and respectful dialogue with elected officials.

Supporting Causes that Reflect our Mission

“How marvelous it would be if, at the end of the day, each of us could say: today I have performed an act of charity towards others!”

Pope Francis

Part of our ministry is to extend our work beyond our walls by raising funds to support organizations whose missions align with our own. We believe that faith is best lived out through action, and one of the ways we do this is by helping causes that serve communities in need, uplift families, and share God’s love in meaningful ways.

Below are some of the organizations we are proud to support:

Birthline/Lifeline Pregnancy Care Center

Holy Ground PBC (dedicated to the shelter

and mentorship of homeless, pregnant or

parenting young women and their children)

St. Ann Place (resource center for homeless

women and men)

St. Vincent DePaul Society of Palm Beach

County

St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church

St. Therese de Lisieux Catholic Church

Our CCW chapter supports these organizations and others

with financial gifts and with our continued prayers of support

for the work they do.
